How Do You Give Your Power Away?

How Do You Give Your Power Away?

We are all guilty of it.  We give our attention to something we are unhappy with, uncomfortable with, do not like, or would prefer not to experience.  We all have thought about the "worst case scenario" and even gone as far as making contingencies for what we would do if the "worst" happened.  My question relates to how much time during our day, week or month do we spend time thinking about and focusing on other people's concerns when we do not have any control over what will ultimately happen for them?  It becomes a HUGE ENERGY DRAIN!

I'm sure, if you are like many, you do it and are not even aware that you are doing it.  Understanding that you do it, becoming aware of it, acknowledging it is the first step to changing that energy drain.  And by changing that energy drain through eliminating it, this will create the basis for improving your health and giving you abundant energy to focus on those things you do have control over and can affect in your favor.  It will create the basis for life improvement vs. continuing to live lives of struggle and putting out fires every day.  It will eliminate the destructive and degenerative emotions of worry, fear and paralyzed will.  It will set the tone for more happiness, more joy and more laughter.

Laughter....this is what we all used to do freely and openly as children.  Look about you and see the children in our lives without a care that concerns them.  They make up games, they always play, and they enjoy their time doing just about anything.  They are in learning mode and understanding mode.  They experiment.  They have ideas, brilliant ideas that they never consider could not occur.  They live in a world of fantasy and inspiration, being a creative being, expressing from their heart, their true heart's desire.  They approach life with passion and enthusiasm and create results that make them happy.  They live the life we are all meant to live.  And they do this when we leave them alone and simply allow them to "be."  When was the last time you did that for yourself?  I imagine, if you are like most, you have not done it since you were a kid.  And that is far too long to go without that passion for creativity.

Heavy Metal Toxicity: An Overview You Should Learn About

Heavy Metal Toxicity: An Overview

Heavy metal toxicity is an excessive build-up of metals in the body.  Oftentimes, the vague symptoms produced by heavy metal toxicity are mistakenly misdiagnosed as incurable chronic conditions.  The most common heavy metals that humans are exposed to are aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury.

Heavy metals are found in everyday existence and are frequently hard to avoid entirely. Most people can excrete toxic heavy metals from the body successfully.  However, some people—especially those who suffer from chronic conditions—cannot excrete them efficiently enough and a build-up occurs.  Recent research also reveals that those who cannot excrete heavy metals efficiently appear to be genetically predisposed to this condition.  Research has shown that the APO-E 4/3 and 4/4 genotypes are the worst excretors of heavy metals.  Those with this version of APO-E protein—abundant in the cerebral spinal fluid surrounding the brain—will have the highest affinity for becoming ill from exposure to neuro-toxic heavy metals, especially mercury when it is present in combination with others.

When numerous metals are present in the body, they have a “synergistic toxicity.”  Dr. Boyd Haley, professor and chair of the chemistry department at the University of Kentucky, performed a study on rats and found that the mortality rate of rats exposed to a small dose of mercury or aluminum killed only 1 rat in 100.  However, when the rats were exposed to both mercury and aluminum at the same time, all 100 rats died—a 100% mortality rate.

Fatigue...The Underlying Causes and What You Can Do

Fatigue

Fatigue has many potential causes, however what follows are the basic mechanics.  Several organs produce and distribute energy throughout the body.  Understanding the relationship between you and these systems is important when isolating the underlying cause of your fatigue.

1) The Stomach, Spleen/Pancreatic System are responsible for a certain amount of energy production, which begins as food is broken down into nutrients in the Stomach, in part due to the actions of the Spleen/Pancreatic System.  Those nutrients are then sent into the Small Intestines, pass through the intestine wall into the blood stream and travel to the Liver to be cateloged before being distributed to the body.  This process is the basis for creating energy.  Regardless of how well one eats, lack of Stomach and/or Spleen/Pancreas System function will often lead to fatigue.  Symptoms of indigestion, heartburn or reflux are some of the direct indicators there is a problem within the Stomach, Spleen/Pancreas Systems and should be evaluated by a qualified practitioner.  Addressing the underlying cause of concern is much better than masking the problem with medication.

2) The Lungs may be involved with fatigue;
